Not sure which fudge is best for the occasion? This easy chocolate fudge recipe is perfect for everything!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups good quality semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt

  • 1 cup chopped walnuts, divided

Instructions

  • Line a baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on both sides to act as “handles.” Set aside.
  • Pour the chocolate chips into a large bowl. Cover them with the sweetened condensed milk. Microwave on high power for 90 seconds, then let stand for 1 minute.
  • Remove the bowl from the microwave and stir until smooth. If the chocolate didn’t fully melt, return it to the microwave. Microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring between each, until the mixture is fully smooth.
  • Stir in the vanilla and sea salt. Then, gently mix in 3/4 cup of the walnuts. Stir gently until well mixed.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to smooth the top. Then, gently press the last 1/4 cup of walnuts into the top.
  • Wrap the dish tightly with aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. (Overnight is best.)
  • Use the parchment paper handles to remove the fudge from the baking dish. Cut into squares, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

  • This recipe works best in an 8 x 8 or 9 x 9 baking dish.
  • Store leftover fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-5 days.
