Starting in fall 2022, the University of Massachusetts Amherst will not allow students to internally transfer to the Isenberg School of Management who were not directly accepted into the program, said the Deputy Director of News & Media Relations Mary Dettloff in an email.

In the annual ranking of undergraduate business programs released today by U.S. News & World Report, Isenberg came out at number 29 for public undergraduate business programs, up from number 32 last year.

The employment numbers were even higher than those of the Class of 2021, which saw 92 percent of graduates seeking jobs employed within six months. Isenberg also saw a significant increase in average starting salary, with the Class of 2022 coming in at $67,399—up from $60,371 in 2021.

Isenberg offers Dual MBA/MS degrees in six disciplines: Public Policy and Administration, Sport Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Isenberg also awards M.S. degrees in Accounting and Sport Management.

Admission is highly competitive, so meeting minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee admission to Commonwealth Honors College. Students who were previously Commonwealth Honors College students do not need to reapply for reinstatement.
