Low Carb Keto Chili recipe without beans is an easy, hearty and healthy dinner recipe which is super easy to make, gets ready in under 30 min and just 8 net carbs per serving is a healthy low carb and keto dinner for the family.

Keto Chili is made with Ground Beef, cooked with Chili seasoning, Cayenne, Garlic & Onion Powder, Ground Cinnamon, Bay Leaf and Smoked Paprika.

Its got tons of flavors because of all the spices. Also for the veggies I have just used Bell peppers. It adds a nice crunch to the Chili!

Its an easy no bean Chili recipe which everyone will love. A super simple one pot low carb dinner for the family!

Serve it with Cauliflower Rice or Quinoa or cooked Rice.

Is Chili Keto friendly?

No. Chili is made with loads of Beans and Tomato sauce so its not Keto. Did you know that Beans are full of carbs and not Keto friendly!

Also to make it even healthy and low carb, I have used my Keto Ketchup. Its the perfect alternative to Tomato sauce which is traditionally used in Chili.

Also its Low Carb, made without using refined sugar and just so healthy!

My Keto Chili is made with Spices, lean Ground Beef, Keto Ketchup, Diced Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, Jalapenos, Onion, & Garlic.

I really love my recipe of low carb Chili without beans. Its super simple yet the same flavors and nostalgia of an authentic Chili recipe.

Ingredients

  • Ground Beef - I use lean ground beef for this recipe. You can replace with Ground Chicken or Ground Turkey.
  • Avocado Oil - I use Avocado oil to cook this chili. Its super healthy!
  • Onion and garlic - I use Yellow Onion and minced garlic to cook the Ground beef
  • Diced Tomatoes - instead of Tomato Paste or canned Tomatoes which are high in sodium. i use simple, diced Roma Tomatoes.
  • Jalapenos - adds a lot of flavors and spice to the Chili
  • Keto Ketchup - the perfect alternative to Tomato sauce in this chili
  • Spices - Chili Powder, Cayenne, Onion Powder, Garlic powder, Ginger Powder, Ground Cinnamon, Ground Cumin, dried Bay Leaf, Salt and Pepper.
  • Garnish - Cilantro, Lime Juice, Sour Cream, Avocado slices and shredded Smoked Cheddar Cheese.

How to make Keto Chili without beans

Easy to make this Low Carb Keto Chili is a great weeknight dinner. Its so amazing, warm, cosy and comforting!

Heat a pan over medium high heat. Add Avocado Oil to it.

As the oil shimmers, add the chopped Onions and Garlic. Cook for 2-3 min.

Next add the Ground Beef and cook until it browns for 3-4 min

Add the spices, Bay Leaf, diced Tomato, Keto Ketchup to it. Toss to combine.

Add Water or Broth over it. Stir until combined.

Reduce the heat to low and cover cook for 10-15 min or until the juices have dried.

Remove the lid and serve in a bowl.

Garnish with chopped Cilantro, Avocado Slices, Shredded Smoked Cheddar Cheese, Lime Juice and just a dollop of creamy Sour Cream.

Hint: If you prefer a mild Chili, you can cut down on Cayenne Pepper.

Keto Chili in the Crockpot

This is the best Crockpot Keto Chili recipe. Just brown the meat along with onion and garlic and dump in the crockpot along with other ingredients.

Cover and let it cook on low for 7-8 hours. Perfect weekend dinner! And its healthy too!!!

Keto Chili Instant Pot Recipe

  • Put the instant pot to saute mode
  • Add avocado oil and cook the meat along with onion and garlic for 4-5 min
  • Add the remaining ingredients. Toss to combine.
  • Cover with the lid, place the nozzle to seal position, and pressure cook on high for 4 min
  • Place the nozzle to venting position. Allow the pressure to release naturally (do nothing)
  • Serve warm with shredded Cheddar Cheese, Sour Cream, Chopped Cilantro, Lime Juice and shredded Cheddar Cheese!

Cooking Variations

  • Ground Chicken - you can replace Ground Beef with Ground Turkey or Ground Chicken
  • Spicy - this Keto Chili recipe is very spicy as is. if you want to make it spicier, you can add more cayenne pepper
  • Sweet - if you like a milder chili, skip Cayenne Pepper and add a bit of Worcestershire sauce.
  • Tomato Paste - you can use low carb Tomato Paste in place of Keto Ketchup.

How to store leftovers?

Refrigerate - Store leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate for upto a week.

Freeze - store in a freezer friendly bag, squeeze out the air. You can freeze this Keto Chili for upto 3 months.

Reheat - Thaw overnight in the refrigerator and reheat in the oven until heated through. Garnish with Cilantro, Lime Juice and Sour Cream. Serve hot!

INGREDIENTS

  • lbs Ground Beef lean
  • 1 medium sized Yellow Onion chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Avocado Oil for cooking the meat (can use any flavorless, healthy oil)
  • 1 medium sized Bell Pepper chopped (any color)
  • 2 small Jalapenos de-seeded and chopped
  • 3 medium sized Roma Tomatoes diced
  • 2 tablespoon Keto Ketchup or Tomato Sauce
  • 2 cups Beef Broth low sodium

Spices

  • 1 teaspoon Chili Seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Ginger Powder
  • 2 dried Bay Leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Freshly cracked Black Pepper

Garnish

  • 1 medium sized Lime juiced
  • 1 teaspoon Sour Cream
  • ¼ cup Fresh Cilantro finely chopped
  • ¼ cup Smoked Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • Avocado Slices

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Heat a Pan over medium high heat. Add Avocado Oil or any cooking oil in it. As the oil shimmers, add the Onion & Garlic. Cook for 2-3 min. Add the meat and cook until it browns for 3-4 min.

  • Add the remaining ingredients and the spices. Toss to combine. As the chili comes to a boil, cover with a lid. Reduce the heat to low. Let the Chili simmer over low heat for 10-15 min. Stir occasionally.

  • Once the Chili has thickened, serve in a bowl. Garnish with your desired toppings and serve
